MANGROVE 3

In the series of views from space of our planet there is also THE MANGROVE.
The chance of the fluidity of the pigments gave this view which resembles the mouth of a river photographed by the orbital space station.
Between real view and abstraction.

- The LAROUSSE tells us that the mangrove is a tropical coastal forest formation, based on mangroves, which colonizes the muddy deposits of estuaries or lagoons.
I wanted to pay tribute to the mangrove, which provides benefits to the populations living in the vicinity, in terms of food security, coastal protection against the onslaught of waves and carbon storage.

It also contributes to reducing the risks of natural disasters linked to the impacts of climate change.

. Mangroves are among the most biomass-productive ecosystems on our planet. The most notable woody species are the mangroves with their pneumatophores and stilt roots.
