Landscape in early summer in Provence.

A few houses nestled at the foot of the hill.

A slightly oblique alley leading to it, giving the painting the appearance of an inverted Zorro signature. The houses seems close and distant at the same time.

It is a symphony of greens, from bluish green to spring green, whose vibrations are tempered by the warm color of the walls of the houses and the ocher of the arable land. You can almost feel the warmth of the ambient air, as well as the coolness of the shade in the foreground.

It is a painting made on the spot, near the village of Oppede le Vieux.
